Use these pattern boards to get your little ones fingers moving!
A great resource for fine motor skills…
Laminate your boards and add some loose parts
The children can add resources on top of the pattern (such as buttons, beads, gems)
As seen on my Instagram - miss_e_early_years
Hot Chocolate Number Mugs 1-10
Children need to add the correct amount of marshmallows to the mug. You could also use for formation practice with hot chocolate powder!
Pack also comes with a table sign
Winter theme maths activity…
Use multilink cubes (white or blue) to stack the ‘ice’ on the number mat. There are addition mats or just numerals (1-8)
Also includes table sign and ice cut outs
You can’t share if you sit on the chair!
Use this activity with Numicon pieces and small world figures (such as moblio or duplo) for the children to check if they can ‘sit’ on the chair (top of the numicon)
If they can’t sit, the number can’t be shared and is therefore odd. It is a fun and engaging way for the children to explore odds and evens. See my Instagram for an example of how to use
Includes…
Odds and Evens sorting sheet
Number cut outs 1-10
Table Sign
Speech bubble - ‘You can’t share if you sit on the chair!’
Use with fruit shaped reuseable ice cubes or loose parts
Add a dice or number stones for the children to roll a number and ‘show it’ in the frame
Cut outs and sign included
Choose it, Draw it, Write it 1-10
All you need… laminating pouches for mats/reusable pockets & whiteboard pens
Choose a number disc (colours linked to Numberblock theme), draw it in the tens frame and write it. Rub out & repeat!
